Export

What we grow,
we ship ourselves.

Documentation, clearing and buyer relationships handled in house — a consignment never changes hands between strangers.

OMOTIC Organic Foods cartons beside a branded container at the Arbaminch packing warehouse

OMOTIC's Export Business Unit takes the group's own harvest to market — bananas and fresh produce from Koshele, oilseeds and pulses from Wezeka, and coffee from Konta — alongside sourced volume from growers we visit and know.

Because the farm, the packhouse, the fleet and the clearing desk all sit inside one group, a buyer signs one contract and deals with one point of contact. The record travels with the carton.

How an order runs

From written spec to your cold store

01

Written specification

Product, grade, volume, packaging and destination agreed on paper first.

02

Samples & cupping

Sample sets and, for coffee, the cupping score sent before the lot is committed.

03

Grading & sealing

Cleaned, graded and packed at our own facility, then sealed for the route.

04

Clearing & delivery

Our own desk clears the consignment and our fleet runs it to the port.

Documentation that travels with every consignment

Prepared in house, so nothing waits on a third party.

Proforma Invoice
Bill of Lading
Certificate of Origin
Phytosanitary Certificate
Quality & weight certificates
Temperature log (cold chain)
